On Thursday November 21, 2019 the Poynette Area Community Food Pantry was able to distribute 50 Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner Boxes to families in the Poynette Community and the surrounding area.  This was only possible due to the generous donations of area businesses and individual community members and in partnership with the Poynette Piggly Wiggly.  Each box  is valued at approximately $60.00 and contained a fully cooked frozen turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, vegetables and a pumpkin pie.  Each box also contained a beautiful hand quilted hot pad/trivet made by the local ladies quilt guild. 

The Food Pantry wishes to thank everyone involved and to encourage everyone to continue to shop locally.
